The MetaMorph Story

METAMORPH is a family-owned-and-operated business that is the brain-child of Joseph James IV “JJ” Palumbo, an 18-year-old entrepreneur who is inspired by change and the need to embrace life’s journey. The company opened its doors in 2024 in Westbury, NY.

WHY METAMORPH?

We always get the question, Why METAMORPH?

On August 17th, 2004 my grandfather, Joseph James Palumbo II,  went to Heaven. He had lost a valiant fight with gallbladder cancer before I had the chance to meet him. But his presence was something I always felt. On special days, like my First Communion or Graduation, and during other important life moments, my grandfather would come visit me, disguised as a beautiful Monarch butterfly.

Fast forward to present-day and life has thrown our family another curveball. My 16-year-old sister, Becca, has been recently diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma. She has already had a successful surgery to remove the cancer and is about to undergo further treatment. This has been like a splash of cold water to the face and has made me pause and think about how fragile and ever-changing life can be.

While sitting in my room processing everything, the idea "METAMORPH" came to life. Metamorphosis is the process of change where something completely transforms - like a caterpillar becoming a beautiful butterfly. 

Everyone has their own journey in life,  whether it be battling a sickness like my sister or losing weight for senior prom. But whatever your journey is, embrace it, because you too can transform into whatever it is you want to be and you will I’ll always be guided by those butterflies who watch over you. 

I created METAMORPH to help people understand that you aren't alone in your journey. You have countless people cheering you on. Either with you or from above.
